Maple leaves

In autumn, the maple leaves turn to a beautiful red color, and it is considered a must-see in Japan. A couple weeks ago, a Japanese friend took me to Kourankei, a famous place for seeing maple leaves. Unfortunately, the climate this year has been particularly mild and as a consequence, most trees were still green when we went there...
But it was still really pretty, with a great atmosphere and many stalls with Japanese specialties:
Still, I wanted to see more red leaves and I ended up going to Okazaki castle to take more pictures:
