Tokyo 6 - Shinjuku

Shinjuku has many different things! First, as many other places in Tokyo, there's a huge activity, with tons of shops everywhere. I don't think the area is specialized in anything particular:




If you go a little apart from the main avenue, you reach Kabuki-cho, renowned for its hostess clubs, peep-shows, love hotels and where, just like in Nagasaki, I was offered some services which, once again, I politely refused...
Nearby, a small and quiet temple which I forgot the name, but not its cute cherry trees:


But the highlight is definitely Shinjuku park. Sure, there are a lot of people but the park is so huge that it doesn't feel that crowded even during the cherry blossom viewing season. And even in the more frequented areas, the atmosphere is quiet and you don't feel the crowd as much as in Ueno for instance. On top of that, there are some really beautiful cherry trees!
