Tokyo 10 - Odaiba
04/16/2007
I'll make it short for my last post about Tokyo. Odaiba is a little further away from the center and there's not much to do there, except going to one of the large shopping complexes:

However it faces Tokyo bay, something one can easily forget when trapped in the middle of the crowd in Ginza or Ueno:

And I must reckon it's quite relaxing compared to the center! I didn't go there for shopping, I was only interested in Joypolis:

This large 3-storey game center is packed with simulation oriented games and attractions:

Even though they claim "state of the art", "virtual reality" and stuff, it's not that revolutionary but there aren't that many places where you get to experience "real-size" simulators, and the sensations are great! I have really good memories of that day, especially since I also met two nice Japanese girls!
I'm done with my Tokyo tour, from tomorrow I'll go on with the rest of my holidays. Indeed, after Tokyo I headed north and went to various places. The best is for the end, but you'll have to wait for about a week to learn about that...
